Lumigenex, a fast growing biotech company with focuses on clinical diagnostics and infection control. We are seeking a Senior Microbiologist to work in our research facility at Biobay in Suzhou Singapore Industrial Park, China. This position will involve leading microbiology research programs, interpreting project outcomes, and coaching junior level Microbiologists on the team. On a regular basis this position will be directing product development teams to develop and evaluate new germ control products. Responsibilities include resolving technical problems with current projects and developing new technologies to improve the efficacy of germ control products. Other efforts will involve product development and interface with internal and external technical groups to develop and enhance antimicrobial products.

This position requires a PhD in Microbiology or equivalent discipline, with a minimum of five years microbiology research experience. The right candidate will have strong hands-on laboratory skills and a commitment to bench work. Knowledge and technical skills in molecular, cell biology or biochemistry is desirable. Experience in infection control with biocides is desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed in research documentation and both team and independent project efforts. Communication in English is an asset.
