Job Description:
1. In this role, the candidate will take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion;
2. Responsible for process optimization in bench scale bioreactor for various key process parameters;
3. The candidate will generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and to support development of new products/processes;
4. The candidate will initiate technical investigations, prepare protocols, develop, and apply advance theories, methods and research techniques in solution of complex and advanced biotechnical problems;

Basic Requirements:
1. Ph.D. relevant degree in disciplines include Chemicall Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Biopharmacy;
2. Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably of which at least 2 are postdoctoral experience and 3, or more are in the biotechnology/life science industry;
3. In-depth industrial process knowledge;
4. Typical relevant degree disciplines include Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering degree and hands-on cell culture process development experience;
5. A working knowledge of cell culture techniques, process and media optimization, bench scale bioreactor operations,scale-up and process transfer;
6. Position requires the ability to develop product processes for stem cell lines that are intended for research and human use;
7. Familiarity of cGxP in terms of practice and documentation is essential;
8. Abilities to interact and convey ideas in a way that ensures good process transfer to product within or outside CRO;
9. Abilities to develop analytical approaches that aid in the development of an optimized production process is a plus;
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
