JOB DESCRIPTIONAn immediate opening is available for a highly-motivated individual of a group leader position for E. coli and insect cell expression and purification team at CrownBio. She or he would be responsible for approximately 6 individuals, providing technical expertise and leadership in study plan designing, monitoring the progress of projects, and coordinating activities with other groups in the protein science department. Additionally, he or she will be involved in technique development, resource allocation and lab and performance management as well.
REQUIREMENTSThe team leader of protein expression and purification group will possess the following qualifications:? PhD with a minimum of two years or MS with at least five years of industrial experience in protein expression, purification, biochemistry or closely related discipline.? Thorough understanding of protein expression and purification in bacterial and insect cell expression systems to ensure the success of projects and customer satisfaction.? General knowledge of state-of-the art technologies, platforms and approaches which enable practical yet innovative ways to support various projects.? Strong command of academic or commercial research efforts and of scientific literature, and knowledge of key opinion leaders in the area.? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
