Clinical Diagnostics Marketing Manager, China


Job Description:

The Clinical Diagnostics Marketing Manager will lead the commercial launch and promotion of Cepheid’s GeneXpert Systems and Xpert assays in China. The individual’s longer-term objective will be to develop and execute a successful commercial growth strategy for Cepheid’s molecular diagnostics program in China, as well as to cultivate a strong relationship with KOL’s and to train and support end users

This is a high profile position that will interact across the entire organization and with the potential of building a Marketing team in the next 2-3 years.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute overall diagnostics business strategy for the GeneXpert System and Xpert MTB/Rif for a successful commercial launch
Establish product and price strategy programs which are in alignment to the China market and competitions in the market place
Provide training and support to distribution partners to ensure effective product positioning
Support government tenders and programs for MTB/Rif
Manage business and product build forecasts
Cultivate relationship with KOL’s in the clinical lab and the clinical/physician segments
Manage trade shows and events for the successful launch of Cepheid’s products and to increase market awareness of our brand name and technology

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
3-5 Years experience in Sales/Marketing Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical industry
Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, advanced degree preferred
Excellent English, computer and presentation skills
travel up to 30%, this position is based in Shanghai
