职位描述:
The DBS Manager APAC is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation and execution of the Danaher Business System (DBS) within the AB SCIEX APAC organization.
This position reports to the VP of APAC Sales & Sales Support directly and partners with Sales, Sales Operation, Market Development, Marketing, FAS and Service, but also with HR and Finance by applying lean principles and Kaizen to drive sustained continuous improvement results and to create a culture of continuous improvement. The position provides feedback on the progress for the various initiatives into the APAC leadership team on a regular basis.
Specific duties & responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to, the following:
? Drive ever-improving results by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and change management process.
? Assist APAC and/or regional leadership in the development of a DBS roadmap
? Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching
? Assist in achieving APAC Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives
? Continue to evolve DBS tools
? Ensure productive kaizen events
? Promote and facilitate diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide
expert counsel on appropriate tools to eliminate them
? Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools
? Promote and facilitate associate development in various DBS tools, lean production, and kaizen leadership
? Benchmark and incorporate best practices
Qulification:
An academic degree (BSc) in Business Administration/Economics, chemistry or equivalent work experience is required. MBA a plus.
Prospective candidates for the DBS Manager APAC role will have had significant experience within a Sales, Support or Service function and an affinity to transactional and logistic process improvement.
Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a general managers point of view
Knowledge and experience with DBS or other continuous improvement systems preferred. Ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business
track record in using lean and/or six sigma principles
Consultancy Approach and experience with change management
Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem solving and strong training and facilitation skills
Good time and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good writing and administrative skills, including MS office skills
